About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our Pediatric Administration team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely patient registration, pre-certification, and charge capture services.
- Process and post payments, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Assist patients with insurance claims, benefits, and financial agreements.
- Coordinate patient pre-payments and enforce financial agreements prior to providing service.
- Process and distribute billing information, and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Provide front office phone support and respond to routine requests for information.
- Maintain appointment books, follow office scheduling policies, and ensure accurate and timely scheduling of patient appointments.
- Collect payments at time of service, review accounts for possible assignment to collection agency, and make recommendations to Clinical Department Practice Manager.
- Participate in educational activities, gather and verify superbills, and enter charge and same-day payment information for patient visits and hospital patients.
- Perform related work as required, and maintain neat and professional appearance, demonstrate commitment to serve at all times, and uphold guidelines set forth in office manual.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent OR Post-high school diploma. Associate degree in technical specialty program of 18 months minimum in length preferred.
- No previous experience required. Multi-specialty group practice setting experience preferred.

This is a full-time position working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
