Role Summary: The Program Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial quotes for our projects, aligning with key financial metrics. You will be responsible for executing financial quoting activities and assisting in the GPMS quote process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the program manager to ensure program delivery meets established targets.
  • Monitor project commitments and proactively engage with the program team to address any deviations.
  • Track and manage costs, investments, tooling, launch, and product development expenses, along with financial KPIs for assigned programs.
  • Conduct comprehensive cost studies, including make-or-buy analyses and business case evaluations.
  • Assist in the business planning and forecasting processes, analyzing the impact of program changes.
  • Support local plants and general managers with strategic decisions related to specific programs.
  • Oversee ongoing program reporting and financial control, including variance analysis and presentation preparation.
  • Represent the project's commercial status in steering committee meetings.
  • Prepare detailed program-specific cost breakdowns and assist in customer negotiations.
  • Act as the finance representative within project teams and implement special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Five to seven years of relevant experience in finance and controlling, preferably within the automotive sector.
  • A university degree in business, finance, or industrial engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or German is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in developing financial models and advanced Excel skills.
