Position Overview:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will take charge of the comprehensive financial oversight of the Emissions, Thermal, and Turbo Systems (ETTS) Propulsion Technical Center (PTC). Your role will also involve supporting the consolidation, analysis, and reporting functions for a diverse business unit that encompasses over 30 manufacturing facilities and 10 technical centers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing proactive insights on business trends impacting the financial performance related to operational expenditures, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and operational challenges, while identifying underlying causes and potential solutions.
  • Managing and consolidating all financial reporting and accounting functions for the respective unit.
  • Ensuring timely and precise month-end closing, forecasting, quoting, working capital management, and fixed asset oversight.
  • Conducting monthly financial closures, which entail posting journal entries in SAP and reconciling accounts.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly earnings reports and quarterly balance sheet reviews.
  • Collaborating with engineering and sales teams to secure R&D reimbursements and prototype income.
  • Working closely with each ETTS unit to reconcile intercompany financial balances.
  • Developing the PTC budget and Long Range Plan (LRP), focusing on operational expenditures and R&D functions.
  • Participating in fixed asset control and inventory management.
  • Taking initiative on challenging projects and creating opportunities for improvement.
  • Completing special assignments as necessary, including updating financial reports and generating ad-hoc analyses as requested by various functional managers.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (including advanced functions such as vlookups, pivot tables, and macros).
  • Experience with SAP and OneStream financial systems.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during critical financial periods.
  • A detail-oriented and organized approach to work.
  • Strong business acumen and ethical standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and process management skills.

Work Environment:
