Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Location: Lexington, MA

Salary: Estimated $150,000 - $220,000 per year.

About Equiliem: We are a cutting-edge technology company looking for a skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a senior member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new Linux systems, including server architecture, configuration, and deployment.
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts and tools to streamline system administration tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
  • Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals, including file systems, permissions, and security.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMware, and other relevant technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Secret clearance or higher.
  • Experience with virtual machines and containerization.
  • Knowledge of automation tools, such as Ansible.
