Position Overview

The Senior Mechanical Engineer - UCE plays a key role in the successful execution of projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager - UCE, this individual will provide technical and engineering excellence, as well as successful delivery of work to our customers.

Job Description
  • Prepares engineering documents and equipment specifications to meet contracted scope of work and to ensure code compliance.
  • Performs engineering calculations.
  • Approves final utilities systems/equipment selections and drawing submittals.
  • Leads utilities systems/equipment procurement efforts.
  • Manages projects and teams, ensuring that work efforts and costs are accurately scoped and estimated.
Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  1. Preparing detailed project plans and schedules.
  2. Leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  3. Providing technical guidance and support to team members.
  4. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of professional engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of utilities generation and distribution systems design.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • A pragmatic and applied approach, while at the same time fostering a creative examination of customer needs and solutions.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
