Position Overview:
As an Application Engineering Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the early stages of engineering for new project initiatives, guiding them from New Product Introduction (NPI) to full-scale production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations to achieve comprehensive project goals.
  • Develop and uphold project timelines.
  • Exhibit strong presentation capabilities.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication among project managers, engineering teams, quality assurance, and operations to achieve stringent cost, timeline, and quality benchmarks.
  • Lead cross-functional discussions between project teams and clients.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of issues and manage critical paths effectively.
  • Collaborate with project management to define pricing strategies.
  • Deliver First Article Inspection (FAI) and Cpk data, along with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) reports to clients, and manage new part approvals.
  • Comprehend technical challenges and drive resolutions by engaging key stakeholders for decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively to address quality concerns and manage rework from inventory or assembly lines as necessary.

Qualifications:
Education:
Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).

Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of plastic tooling design and experience with Metal Injection Molding.
  • Familiarity with system-level design in computing, consumer electronics, and communications.
  • In-depth understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Capability to distill and present relevant information to diverse audiences.
  • Self-driven and proactive, demonstrating innovative and analytical thinking.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (30%+).

Additional Requirements:
  • Proficient in Windows and CAD software; experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software (thermal and aerodynamic) is advantageous.

Language Proficiency:
Fluent in English; bilingual in Chinese is preferred.

Interpersonal Skills:
Strong interpersonal communication skills, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
