Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight and management of a team of emergency services clinicians to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services.
  • Ensure delivery of services in accordance with all applicable regulations and policies.
  • Lead and collaborate with other staff and outside entities to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services to clients.
  • Support the Senior Portfolio Director to ensure coordination of all emergency services and optimum financial performance of programs.
Key Accountabilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of emergency services clinicians.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments and outside entities to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to team members.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited college/university in an applicable human services field.
  • Licensure in the State of Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
  • Four years of relevant clinical experience, including at least 2 years of experience working in emergency services or with persons with serious mental illness.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in emergency services or other mental health setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in emergency services.
  • Knowledge of behavior modification, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), emergency interventions, family, group, and individual therapies, psycho social education, risk assessments, sex offender treatment, substance abuse interventions, etc.
  • Knowledge of clinical supervision requirements and techniques.
  • Knowledge of community mental health and public health to provide advocacy and enhance an individual's treatment and access to community resources.
