Job Overview

Medleno Coffee is seeking an experienced Lead Barista to oversee operations at our Danville location on a part-time basis, with the potential for full-time advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome customers and introduce them to our diverse coffee offerings.
  • Craft and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages.
  • Utilize a state-of-the-art 2-group semi-automatic espresso machine.
  • Handle multiple coffee grinders tailored for specific drink preparations.
  • Prepare our signature espresso drinks, including the renowned Mocha.
  • Make traditional slow-brewed Turkish and Greek coffees.
  • Provide detailed information about coffee blends and preparation methods upon request.
  • Serve light food options such as muffins, biscotti, and bagels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of fellow team members during shifts.

Note: Responsibilities may evolve as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a barista is essential.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a warm personality.
  • Willingness to learn about coffee bean roasting and drink preparation.
Skills:
  • Ability to start early and maintain a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge or eagerness to master the art of crafting cappuccinos, lattes, and mochas.
