Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Handler to join our warehouse operations team at Cirrus Design Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Receipt and Inspection: Unpack, examine, count, and label incoming materials, and record receipts and report discrepancies.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Material Handling: Transport goods, utilize material handling equipment and vehicles, and ensure proper product handling and storage to prevent damage or deterioration.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Perform receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping of goods, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to the production floor.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain an inventory control and management system, including work order closing, and support all facility regulatory and safety codes.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate and utilize handheld inventory management scanners, and operate computers with the Windows operating system.
  • Desired Characteristics: Excellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills, proactive and self-starter, good problem-solving skills, team orientation, high attention to detail, and goal-oriented.
