Material Handler

BendTec, LLC is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our Fabrication team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of material being pulled and delivered to production bays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comply with safety and environmental guidelines and regulations.
• Confirm the accuracy of material being pulled and delivered to production bays.
• Assist in the development of relevant processes and procedures.
• Address material shortages as requested.
• Assist with material reconciliations at job closeouts as requested.
• Safely operate manual handling equipment required to perform responsibilities.
• Use proper stacking and pulling processes.
• Safely utilize ramps to load and unload materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Assist in the preparation of materials to be processed.
• Safely utilize overhead cranes to handle spool piping and load and unload materials.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred
• Experience: None specifically required – Trained on Site
• Computer Skills: None specifically required
• Certifications & Licenses: Valid driver's license
• Other Requirements: Ability to pass forklift training; knowledge of piping materials (visual and descriptions)
