Grocery Service Associate

Grocery Service Associate is responsible for producing, packaging, and showcasing fresh delicatessen items while assisting customers with their selections and purchases. Sales Associates concentrate on fulfilling customer orders at service counters within the delicatessen, sandwich, and specialty departments. You will ensure that display cases are well-maintained and restock products in accordance with the department's freshness guidelines and protocols.

Production Associates are tasked with crafting fresh delicatessen offerings based on established company recipes. Your duties include the daily preparation of service displays, which encompass self-serve salad and soup bars, charcuterie boards, fresh salad cases, rotisserie items, fried chicken, and other hot food selections.

In addition, you will assist in monitoring sales, constructing product displays, and managing inventory levels. It is essential to comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations, and you will actively engage in cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, tools, and equipment. A food handler's permit will be required.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak times for our business.
  • Physical capabilities including reaching overhead, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Consistently providing friendly and attentive customer service.
