The Hermès Boutique is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clientele. This temporary role is integral to our operations, reporting directly to the Operations Manager while collaborating closely with both the sales and support teams to enhance the client experience in a dynamic luxury setting.


Key Responsibilities:

The Temporary Sales and Service Associate (SSA) plays a vital role in supporting both front and back of house operations within the Hermès boutique.

The SSA is tasked with accurately processing transactions, including receipts, CRM entries, SKUs, monetary payments, and client verifications, while also providing administrative support for after-sales services as required. This role involves close collaboration with management on POS decisions.


Sales Support:

The SSA is expected to:

  • Efficiently record point of sale transactions at the register, including processing sales, returns, and repairs.
  • Assist in the preparation of opening and closing procedures alongside management.
  • Deliver high levels of service to clients, adhering to Hermès standards, including prompt greetings, assistance with inquiries, and wrapping and packaging at the point of sale.

Operational Support:

Responsibilities also include:

  • Maintaining an organized work station and selling floor to support sales efforts, ensuring all items are stored properly and merchandising standards are upheld.
  • Assisting in stockroom operations, including replenishment, tagging, and ticketing, as well as participating in physical inventory preparations.

After Sales Support:

The SSA will also:

  • Log repairs, contact customers, and maintain accurate records.
  • Record detailed CRM files that provide insight into purchase history and sales analysis.
  • Answer phones promptly, providing friendly and professional customer service.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a luxury environment.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance. We seek a candidate who embodies these qualities and can fulfill the key functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodations.
