Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Johns Hopkins Medical Management Corporation, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to perform diagnostic exams according to physician orders. You will ensure the safe and efficient flow of patients in this area and guarantee complete and accurate data entry in the RIS and PACS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies.
  • Provide radiologists with images necessary to obtain diagnostic results, ensuring a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physicians.
  • Orient physicians, residents, staff, and student technologists in the objectives and applications of magnetic resonance imaging and safety.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • MRI Certification preferred; technologists may apply as registry eligible but have 12 months to attain registered status.
  • Two years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
