Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at LBH-Sinai Hospital Rapid Response. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans and providing high-quality diagnostic images to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans using prescribed techniques and protocols to produce optimal diagnostic images
  • Review requisitions to ensure completeness and accuracy, verifying patient information and exam details
  • Adjust equipment and select technical factors to produce proper radiographic exposure
  • Utilize standard positioning techniques to obtain optimal diagnostic images
  • Select appropriate protocols for each CT scan procedure, ensuring proper levels of density and contrast
  • Perform scanning procedures of various organs to localize sites of pathological processes
  • Complete examinations in a timely manner, ordering IV and oral contrast as needed
  • Document administration of contrast and scan paperwork in Cerner
  • Perform exam completion, screenings/consents, and paper scanning in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Current certification in BLS and AART
  • Advanced certification in AART (optional)
  • MD licensure in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in CT scanning, with preference for experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
  • Experience in aspirations/biopsies, colography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and PET/CT (optional)
Work Schedule

Day shift, with varying days and 40 hours per week
