Job Summary

The Vice Chancellor of Educational Services and Planning is a key leadership position responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to the district's educational services and planning functions. This role requires a seasoned executive with a strong background in academic affairs, institutional research, and strategic planning.

The successful candidate will serve as a senior advisor to the Chancellor, providing expert guidance on matters related to educational research, planning, and policy development. This individual will also be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the district's strategic plan, as well as overseeing the instructional program inventory and common course list.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in a related field and at least five years of increasingly responsible leadership experience in an educational environment. A doctorate degree and experience in using data to assess and evaluate programs are highly desirable.

This is a full-time, 12-month position that requires a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with college presidents, vice presidents, and other stakeholders to advance the district's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide strategic direction and oversight to the district's educational services and planning functions.
  2. Serve as a senior advisor to the Chancellor on matters related to educational research, planning, and policy development.
  3. Lead the development and implementation of the district's strategic plan.
  4. Oversee the instructional program inventory and common course list.
  5. Direct the development and implementation of educational and student services policies.
  6. Collaborate with college presidents and vice presidents to advance the district's mission and goals.
Requirements
