The Tulsa Club Hotel is on the lookout for an exceptional Parking Attendant to join our team in Tulsa, OK.

Role Summary:

Under general oversight, the Parking Attendant provides essential services to hotel patrons, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction by promptly addressing their requests. This role involves safely parking and retrieving vehicles in designated areas while maintaining accurate documentation of vehicle conditions prior to service. A commitment to courteous guest interactions and resolving service issues promptly is crucial. Our goal is to provide warm, knowledgeable service that reassures guests they have made the right choice in staying with us.

  • Greet and assist guests upon arrival by helping with luggage and transporting it to their accommodations, either by personally carrying it or utilizing a luggage cart. Safely park and retrieve vehicles as needed.
  • Assist guests during departure by transporting luggage from their rooms to the lobby and aiding in loading luggage into their vehicles.
  • Respond to guest requests by delivering items such as laundry, newspapers, and additional linens promptly, maintaining a written log of these requests.
  • Provide information about hotel services and amenities, both in person and over the phone, to enhance guest relations.
  • Communicate any vehicle maintenance needs to the engineering team in a timely manner and follow up on the completion of such tasks.
  • Adhere to all traffic and driving regulations at all times.
  • Maintain a scheduled route consistently.
  • Ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings during transport.
  • Complete transportation logs accurately.
  • Stay informed about local attractions and establishments to assist guests with inquiries and directions.
  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor consistently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Keep lobby areas and entrances clean and free of debris to present an attractive environment for guests.
  • Assist colleagues and other departments to contribute to the overall success of the hotel.
  • Applicants should demonstrate a service-oriented attitude in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail is essential for managing keys and understanding parking layouts.
  • Seasonal responsibilities may include snow removal and general cleanliness tasks.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience with major hotel brands is preferred.

  • Ability to see objects and people at a distance.
  • Manual dexterity to handle luggage and packages effectively.
  • Physical strength to lift and carry items weighing up to 65 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to handle customer service challenges with tact and understanding.
  • Capability to maintain an effective pace during shifts.
