About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Estimator to join our team at Talent Masters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from design to execution, ensuring the best customer experience with transparency, excellence, and integrity at the core.

This is a unique opportunity to work with high-end, custom roof systems, which require a deep understanding of complicated roofs with valleys, flat sections, and multi-story components. You will analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project and determine what factors of production will influence the cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed estimates for residential projects, including shingle, tile, and metal roofs
  • Analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project
  • Determine what factors of production will influence the cost
  • Maintain current market pricing for materials in the estimating system
  • Generate job cost reports
  • Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors
  • Perform hand-off meetings with assigned project managers
  • Present prepared estimates to management
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Construction or similar field, preferred
  • Familiarity with The Edge estimating software, a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflow
  • Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for residential projects
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
