Become a vital part of our research team as a Nutrition Research Associate
We are seeking a qualified individual to join the Department of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences, working closely with Dr. Allison Sylvetsky. The primary focus of our research initiatives will be on maternal, infant, and child nutrition, particularly examining the impact of sugar and sweetener exposure on health outcomes. As a Nutrition Research Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the recruitment, screening, scheduling, and enrollment of participants for studies
- Conducting both in-person and virtual research procedures and gathering data
- Managing biological samples, including blood, stool, urine, and breast milk
- Assisting in literature reviews and the preparation of grant proposals
- Contributing to the development of academic manuscripts and presentations
The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS in a relevant field and have prior experience working with mothers, children, and families. We expect strong organizational, communication, and data management skills. This position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday.
