About the Opportunity

Herdt Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled ERP Data Manager to support the Department of the Navy's migration of all active non-classified transactions to ERP SAP application. As a key member of the Data Management team, you will be responsible for leading data management for a large-scale ERP deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Navy Budget Submitting Office (BSO) data conversion efforts
  • Collect and analyze data conversion metrics
  • Communicate effectively with staff members, Government Subject Matter Experts (SME), and PMW-220 to identify solutions for errors encountered during data conversion efforts
  • Develop data validation training materials
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for streamlining disparate data cleanse and conversion activities between multiple groups
Requirements
  • 5+ years' relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years' Federal Financial Management or logistics experience, with a minimum of 3 years ERP experience
  • Program or project management experience, acquisition manager, or business analyst experience a plus
  • Ability to effectively interface with senior DoD SES staff, academia, industry in meetings, workshops, forums
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and on a team
