As a Surgical Technologist at Intermountain Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures. You will work closely with the surgical team to maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines
  • Ensure the proper handling and disposal of surgical instruments and supplies
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to identify and address any issues or concerns during procedures
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
  • Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician program (ORT) or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
