Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support our team in Lockport, IL. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily tasks, including general office work, computer data entry, and communication with fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Supervisor: Assist the supervisor with daily tasks, including but not limited to, paperwork accuracy verification and relaying work assignments to fellow employees.
  • Microsoft Excel Expertise: Create and maintain accurate Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to track trailers, customer orders, and other critical data.
  • Logistics Coordination: Track trailers and customer orders, check in drivers after routes are completed, and put up return freight.
  • Customer Service: Ensure all customer orders, customer pick-ups, 3rd party deliveries, intercompany deliveries, and signed and picked up RARs are collected daily.
  • Order Management: Wave orders for selection and ensure accurate and timely processing.

Requirements

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of experience in an office/operation setting.
