WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AS A REGIONAL MANAGER

  • Conducting regular property inspections to ensure adherence to regulations and standards.
  • Leading, challenging, and inspiring Community Managers to operate high-performing properties, aiding in the provision of affordable housing to eligible individuals and families.
  • Assisting Community Managers in establishing annual property budgets; offering guidance and support as necessary.
  • Creating and implementing SMART action plans to enhance portfolio revenue and reduce controllable expenses; ensuring the portfolio meets or exceeds annual budget targets.
  • Recruiting, training, developing, and managing direct reports to optimize performance.
  • Fostering an engaging, inclusive, and diverse culture of growth and learning across the portfolio.
  • Implementing talent management best practices throughout the portfolio, focusing on internal growth and strengthening the talent pipeline.
  • Facilitating consistent communication across the portfolio to align business objectives.
  • Ensuring the portfolio meets maintenance expectations; recommending capital improvements as necessary to maximize asset value.
  • Collaborating with property support teams (e.g., Compliance, HR, Facilities) to address concerns and seek assistance as needed to advance the portfolio.
  • Supporting the Regional Compliance team in responding to governmental and regulatory agency inquiries.
  • Participating in property audits and liaising with agencies as required; ensuring the portfolio complies with all standards.

COMPENSATION

  • $110,000 - $130,000 / yearly
  • plus an annual performance-based bonus.
Qualifications

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A minimum of 5 years of property management experience with knowledge of HUD Section 8, LIHTC, and/or other affordable housing programs. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Possession of one of the following affordable housing industry certifications is preferred: CPO, CPM, SHCM, TCM, along with prior experience in major renovations and rehabs.
  • A goal-oriented leader who genuinely cares for their team, clients, and residents.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary and respond to emergencies outside of regular hours.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret operating statements and budgets.
  • Commitment to exceeding expectations and delivering exceptional service to enhance real estate value.
