Job Overview

The County of DuPage, CO seeks an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide professional-level support to the Executive Director and staff. This role involves a wide range of administrative tasks, including budget preparation, personnel management, and office operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to internal and external contacts, including purchasing, personnel, facilities, and operations.
  • Screen and/or answer questions for the Executive Director or route to the appropriate staff member; prepare a daily appointment schedule or keep a calendar for the Executive Director.
  • Receive visitors, schedule appointments, and arrange meetings.
  • Work with administrators and managers to keep them informed of department issues.
  • Follow through on information requests, projects, and pending matters with limited direction.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma equivalent.
  • Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience performing a variety of administrative responsibilities, including budget preparation, personnel or office management, with two years of supervisory responsibility.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $60,000.00 annually.
