Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Appointee to join our Quantum Performance Laboratory team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quantum computing and information science, with a demonstrated publication record or relevant experience. The postdoctoral researcher will work on cutting-edge research projects, including the development of new methods for assessing and improving the performance of quantum computers. The ideal candidate will have a strong research track record, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing new methods for assessing and improving the performance of quantum computers
- Collaborating with a team of researchers to develop and deploy cutting-edge techniques for quantum computing
- Publishing research results in top-tier scientific journals
- Presenting research findings at conferences and workshops
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Chemistry, or a related field, conferred within the past five years. A strong research track record, including publications in peer-reviewed journals, is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will also have experience with quantum computing and information science, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
