About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team at C. Harper Auto Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Consultative Selling: Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle by asking insightful questions and actively listening to their needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest vehicle offerings, optional packages, and automotive technologies to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Vehicle Demonstrations: Conduct professional and engaging vehicle demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our vehicles.
  • Follow-Up: Maintain contact with customers to ensure their satisfaction and encourage referral business.
  • Sales Excellence: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by overcoming objections and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ethical Conduct: Conduct all business activities in an ethical and professional manner, adhering to our company's values and policies.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager on sales performance, objectives, and planned activities.
  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance at all times, adhering to our company's dress code and grooming standards.
  • Positive Attitude: Bring a positive attitude and energy to the team every day, contributing to a productive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, to meet the needs of our customers.

  • Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and retain product information to provide expert advice to customers.

  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Compensation & Pay Plans

  • Salaried Pay Plan: A stable, fixed salary for consistent income.
  • Draw/Commission Pay Plan: A performance-based plan where your earnings are tied to your sales success.
  • Protected Salary Pay Plan: Available during your probationary period, this plan provides guaranteed income while you transition into the role.
