Concorde Inc. is on the lookout for a Scrum Project Leader who will be accountable for steering Agile initiatives by engaging with stakeholders to outline objectives, managing product backlogs, and facilitating Scrum ceremonies. This role involves empowering self-organizing teams, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and proactively managing risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Project Strategy

  • Engage with stakeholders to articulate project vision, objectives, and user stories.
  • Oversee and refine the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business impact and stakeholder insights.

Scrum Facilitation

  • Serve as a Scrum Master, leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous enhancement.

Team Leadership

  • Encourage self-organizing teams by fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Support team members in their roles and provide guidance on Agile methodologies.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status and challenges.
  • Collect and integrate feedback from stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Risk Mitigation

  • Identify and address potential risks proactively, adjusting the product backlog as needed to alleviate issues.
  • Create an environment where team members feel comfortable raising concerns and proposing improvements.

Quality Control

  • Collaborate with the team to establish quality benchmarks and ensure deliverables meet acceptance standards.
  • Promote test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration practices.

Documentation Management

  • Maintain Agile documentation, including user stories, sprint objectives, and release plans, ensuring accessibility and currency.
  • Document lessons learned and best practices from each sprint for future reference.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Agile Methodologies

  • Comprehensive understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Experience with Agile estimation methods (e.g., story points, planning poker).

Facilitation Expertise

  • Proven ability to effectively facilitate team meetings and workshops.
  • Skills in guiding teams through conflict resolution and decision-making processes.

Technical Knowledge

  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Trello).
  • Understanding of software development processes and technologies.

Flexibility

  • Ability to modify project plans based on iterative feedback and evolving stakeholder needs.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapid changes in project scope.

Education
