Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? U-Haul is seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team

Job Summary:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of U-Haul, providing top-notch service to our customers while ensuring their rental experience is seamless and enjoyable. You will work closely with our team to resolve customer inquiries, manage rental equipment, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with rental equipment and provide exceptional customer service
  • Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
  • Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
  • Clean and inspect equipment on the lot
  • Answer customer questions and educate them on products and services
  • Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring
  • Fulfill propane and drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul)
  • Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
