Job Summary

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities seeks a highly skilled and experienced Disciplinary Counsel Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of professional conduct among attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and prosecute complaints against attorneys for unethical conduct.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent unethical behavior among attorneys.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with professional conduct standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to attorneys on professional conduct matters.

Requirements

  • Must be an attorney licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a disciplinary or regulatory capacity.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
