Customer Service Representative Job Description

At The Glass Guru of Columbia, we prioritize exceptional customer service. We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. This part-time position offers the opportunity to grow into a full-time role, with benefits including paid holidays and a paid day off on your birthday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make collection calls on past due invoices
  • Answer inbound phone calls promptly during business hours
  • Respond to voicemails and messages from the answering service
  • Respond to email correspondence and forward as necessary
  • Greet customers and visitors to the showroom
  • Screen incoming leads and schedule estimate appointments
  • Quote products by telephone for clients and customers
  • Assist estimators with follow-up on pending sales and quotes
  • Schedule work appointments for installation technicians
  • Troubleshoot issues from the field, working with GMs, vendors, and technicians to find solutions
  • Filing of daily work orders and estimates

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Pass an initial background check and drug test
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel)
  • Hardworking, motivated, and organized individual

Eligibility for company benefits is contingent upon completion of the initial employee probationary period and at the discretion of the Franchise Owner.
