Customer Service Representative Job Description
At The Glass Guru of Columbia, we prioritize exceptional customer service. We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. This part-time position offers the opportunity to grow into a full-time role, with benefits including paid holidays and a paid day off on your birthday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make collection calls on past due invoices
- Answer inbound phone calls promptly during business hours
- Respond to voicemails and messages from the answering service
- Respond to email correspondence and forward as necessary
- Greet customers and visitors to the showroom
- Screen incoming leads and schedule estimate appointments
- Quote products by telephone for clients and customers
- Assist estimators with follow-up on pending sales and quotes
- Schedule work appointments for installation technicians
- Troubleshoot issues from the field, working with GMs, vendors, and technicians to find solutions
- Filing of daily work orders and estimates
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass an initial background check and drug test
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel)
- Hardworking, motivated, and organized individual
Eligibility for company benefits is contingent upon completion of the initial employee probationary period and at the discretion of the Franchise Owner.
