Position Summary:

The Custodian is responsible for performing essential cleaning and janitorial tasks to maintain the quality and appeal of the apartment community. This role ensures that the property remains in a pristine and organized state, supporting maintenance, landscaping, and management efforts to uphold company standards and attract residents.

Custodian Qualifications:

  • Availability may vary based on property needs, with weekend shifts required.
  • Must pass a background check and physical examination.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Custodian Duties:

  • Maintain cleanliness of building floors through sweeping, mopping, and light scrubbing.
  • Collect and dispose of trash.
  • Service, clean, and restock restrooms.
  • Utilize cleaning agents, sponges, and squeegees for effective cleaning.
  • Dust furniture and walls regularly.
  • Ensure building security and safety by locking doors as necessary.

Additionally, notify management of any major repair needs or enhancements to building systems. Requisition necessary supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
