Job Title: Remediation Field Supervisor

As a Remediation Field Supervisor at HighGround, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing day-to-day operations of mold remediation projects and crew members. Your responsibilities will include ensuring efficient and thorough completion of projects, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering effective communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee daily operations, including pre-production and work-in-progress job boards.
    • Ensure projects are completed within established schedules and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Respond to inquiries from insurance adjusters, homeowners, and property managers.
    • Drive project restoration by removing obstacles through clear communication with all parties involved.
  • Project Efficiency:
    • Ensure jobs progress as planned and efficiently, including accurate use of in-house PM tools.
  • Customer and Team Interaction:
    • Champion communication efforts on complex or sensitive jobs.
    • Resolve customer service issues, staff performance concerns, and project execution challenges professionally.
  • Remediation Assessments and Reviews:
    • Conduct remediation assessments as needed.
    • Ensure technicians secure 5-star reviews and follow up to address and improve less-than-5-star reviews.
  • Fleet and Equipment Management:
    • Manage truck loading and ensure technicians teams are equipped for their projects.
    • Work with the Warehouse Manager on equipment repairs, inventory, and procurement.
  • Visual and Operational Standards:
    • Ensure trucks and equipment are stocked, operating correctly, and visually maintained.
    • Maintain technician professionalism and proper equipment use.
  • Training and Supervision:
    • Train and supervise a high-performing team, conducting weekly training and safety meetings.
    • Manage overtime, schedules, and approve requests for sub-labor as needed.
  • Performance Metrics and Reports:
    • Review DASH and Power BI reports for performance evaluations and improvements.
    • Conduct weekly ride-alongs to inspect job sites.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
    • Work with sales, marketing, and finance departments to align operational efforts and ensure overall efficiency.
  • Handling New Losses:
    • Capable of managing new loss projects from start to finish during peak demand periods.
  • On-Call and Technology Utilization:
    • Participate in on-call phone rotations and work overtime as required.
    • Utilize industry technology to improve efficiencies, including phone applications and moisture management systems.
  • Physical and Estimation Duties:
    • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, performing water damage tasks, and working on hands and knees when necessary.
    • Produce remediation damage estimates and serve as a backup to the In-Home Sales Person.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Mold, fire, DASH, Xactimate, MICA, and Excel experience are advantageous.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in progressively responsible water damage restoration roles, with a strong track record in project management and customer service.
  • Certifications: Required IICRC WRT certification; ASD and AMRT certifications are highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Proven ability to manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, insurance adjusters, and team members.
    • Proficiency with industry-standard software, including MICA, DASH, Xactimate, and Power BI.
    • Hands-on experience with moisture management systems and field equipment.
  • Technical Abilities:
    • Competency in utilizing technology for operational efficiency.
    • Capable of performing physical tasks associated with water damage restoration.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to train, supervise, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing schedules effectively.
