Job Summary:

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing project plans and schedules, ensuring safety and quality control, and delegating work to field staff, contractors, and tradespeople. You will also be responsible for managing subcontractors on site, ensuring costs, safety, schedule, and quality expectations are met.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Ensure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes and that high-quality standards are maintained
  • Oversee project safety meetings as required and promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental protection on the project
  • Monitor construction schedule within divisional scope on large projects and ensure milestones and completion dates are met
  • Recognize and analyze scheduling issues/delays and support solution development
  • Implement and maintain project start-up systems and procedures
  • Coordinate the change order management process
  • Prepare for project close out by collecting warranties, O&M manuals, and occupancy documents
Qualifications:
  • One to three years of construction experience as a telecommunications superintendent or in a similar direct supervisory role
  • Solid understanding of current construction practices, construction documents, costs, and budgets
  • Ability to plan and manage a project schedule, identifying constructability issues, and supporting development of solutions for moderate situations within scope of responsibility
  • Ability to communicate clearly, interpreting stakeholder needs while leading and managing a diverse team
  • Strong computer skills with an aptitude for learning new programs
Work Conditions:

Able to travel throughout the central United States as needed

Able to meet the physical requirements of the position, which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.)
