Lead Psychologist and Clinical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychologist to join our team at Northwell Health. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for guiding and directing other staff, including psychologists, to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Guidance: Provide clinical leadership and guidance to other staff members, including psychologists, to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Administrative Duties: Coordinate and perform administrative duties to support the smooth operation of our clinical services.
- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct psychological and behavioral assessments, and provide psychotherapeutic interventions to patients as needed.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, taking into account their individual needs and circumstances.
- Quality Improvement: Analyze outcome and follow-up data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.
- Research and Development: Participate in research and development activities to improve our understanding of mental health conditions and develop new treatments.
- Education: Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) or Ph.D. in Psychology required.
- Licensure: Current license to practice as a psychologist in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a leadership role.
