We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Stefano's Slo Food Market. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for producing a variety of high-quality baked goods, including breads, pastries, and desserts. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts.
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with the lead baker to develop new recipes and menu items.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless production and delivery of products.
- Maintain a high level of quality control and attention to detail in all aspects of production.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in hotel or institutional food preparation preferred.
- Previous baking experience required; experience with artisanal baking techniques a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
