Outside Sales Representative

Parksite is seeking a skilled Outside Sales Representative to strengthen customer relationships, drive volume and profit growth, and expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities- Become an expert on our building products and market trends.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and protect existing accounts.
- Provide product pricing and account level recommendations to customers.
- Participate in required vendor training and develop appropriate product knowledge.
We are looking for someone who can aggressively develop a pipeline of new business opportunities and create pull-through for our direct accounts by educating and influencing their customers.
- Responsible for prospecting and developing new business targets/opportunities.
- Create strategies to increase market share of our products with new and existing customers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and protecting existing account business, providing merchandising support, and addressing customer complaints and claims.
- Train customer sales teams on product knowledge and selling techniques.
- Set up and attend trades shows as needed.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or industry experience equivalent.
- 3+ years' experience in customer-facing sales with a focus on building products.
- Direct exposure in resolving customer concerns.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify key trends.
- In-market 85% of the time (customer facing).
- Occasional over-night travel required.
- Must react to short lead customer requests.
