STERIS - Commercial Operations is seeking a skilled Equipment Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of our equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on STERIS and competitor equipment, systems, and components to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Manage time effectively by prioritizing customer and business needs, and autonomously completing PM performance, service calls, warranty calls, equipment installations, field upgrade programs, and other duties.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Tech Support, Engineering, and Service Contract Management, to escalate issues and utilize advanced technology platforms to complete compliance regulatory requirements and resolve and document troubleshooting issues.
- Provide customers with information, pricing, and repair options, and work with management to build relationships with sales teams to drive customer experience and revenue opportunities.
- Support various locations within assigned territories, depending on service agreements and customer needs.
- Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems.
$25 - $34.62 per hour.
