Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. You will be responsible for managing all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.
  • Take important steps to ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients.
Requirements
  • Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age (if the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement).
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (if the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement).
  • Attention and Focus: The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Actively look for ways to help people, and do so in a friendly manner.
  • Communication Skills: Use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with customers and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • PTCB National Certification.
