As the Operations Leader based in Massachusetts, you will oversee all local staff and take charge of regional operational activities. You will become a subject matter expert on Jackpocket's processes, develop and enforce standard operating procedures, and consistently recruit, train, and nurture a large team of operational personnel for one of our key markets. This position is full-time and requires on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations at Jackpocket's fulfillment center in Massachusetts.
  • Manage a team of employees and engage in daily lottery ticket processing tasks.
  • Conduct training for new hires and facilitate continuous learning and development for all team members.
  • Collaborate with operations peers and leadership to establish and uphold best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Regularly assess performance and efficiency, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Set and monitor team and individual goals, track objectives and key results (OKRs), and provide ongoing coaching to enhance performance.
  • Handle daily employee scheduling, approve timecards, update operational procedures, and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage supply deliveries, oversee inventory, maintain cleaning schedules, and troubleshoot any operational issues.
  • Perform cash balance reporting and execute various initiatives and directives as required.
  • Maintain effective communication with regional and senior management regarding operations.
Qualifications
  • Availability to work nights and weekends.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proficient in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Able to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in hiring, managing, scheduling, and developing a large operational workforce.
  • Familiarity with personnel management, including hiring and termination processes, and knowledge of employment law.
  • Proven track record in enhancing and refining operational processes.
  • Experience in managing large-scale operations within a high-growth or fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
