Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior RF Antenna Systems Engineer to join our team at Antenna Research Associates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF antenna design and development, with experience in designing and leading projects from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new RF antenna products, including front-end systems for RADAR, SATCOM, EW, MILCOM, and Communications applications.
  • Manage multiple design projects to successfully deliver system products, providing technical supervision of Electrical Engineers as needed.
  • Write technical proposals in response to RFPs, taking diverse specifications in RF (G/T, EIRP, AESA, PESA) into account.
  • Create test requirements, ATP, and manuals, as well as design systems engineering processes.
  • Test antennas and analyze antenna performance, supporting the manufacture of production antennas.
  • Provide customer support as required.
Requirements
  • BSEE (minimum), MSEE or PhD preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in RF antenna design and development, with experience in designing and leading projects from concept to delivery.
  • Experience with feedhorns, dual and quad ridge horns, arrays, RF front-end systems, AESA/PESA design, waveguide design, active electronic components, and simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, TICRA, FEKO, AWR, or MATLAB.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to clearly communicate and interact with others.
