Job Summary:

The Senior Care Technician will provide hands-on care and support to residents, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment. This role involves observing and reporting changes in resident conditions, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical and emotional support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Observe and report changes in resident conditions, including skin, behavior, alertness, weight, dietary, and participation in activities.
  • Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells, and notify supervisors and/or Health Care Coordinators of any concerns.
  • Assist with continence management and maintain cleanliness of resident suites and community restrooms.
  • Prepare and serve meals, and assist with food tray collection and disposal.
  • Participate in life skills and other life enrichment activities, and engage residents in meaningful conversations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting and assisting internal and external customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors, and team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Nurse's Aid certification preferred.
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • CPR Certification preferred.
  • First Aid Certification preferred.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
