About the Role

BWC Terminals is a leading provider of bulk liquid storage and logistics services to refiners, manufacturers, and distributors of bulk liquids in North America. We are seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to join our team at one of our 22 sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Boiler Systems: Safely and efficiently operate the boiler to produce product for sale, ensuring it meets quality, quantity, and formula standards.
  • Ensure Compliance and Safety: Maintain accurate records, report equipment safety hazards and malfunctions, and adhere to company and regulatory policies.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Communicate effectively with clients and co-workers, provide customer service, and work collaboratively to achieve team goals.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Calibrate equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure all activities are handled within company and state/federal policies.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Training: Attend training seminars, pass required tests, and maintain certification to operate a motor vehicle, forklift, and similar equipment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school degree or G.E.D., current Boiler License issued by the State of Maryland, and a minimum of two years of boiler experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Mechanically inclined, ability to follow sequential instructions, basic computer skills, and ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
  • Working Conditions: Regularly exposed to various weather conditions, loud manufacturing noise, and work near moving mechanical parts.
