Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough reviews of all patient records to ensure the accuracy of patient and billing details. Facilitate the distribution of all billing information to the relevant personnel. Review and follow up on all authorizations, specialty referrals, and physician's dictated notes. Communicate effectively and efficiently via telephone. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of contracts and state Worker's Compensation fee schedules. Utilize a computer for data input and retrieval.

Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required (effective for all new hires).

Familiarity with various insurance billing protocols is essential.

1-2 years of experience in a business office setting is preferred.

Understanding of medical terminology is necessary.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Experience in customer service is required.
