Lead Audiology Program at University of Minnesota

UMPhysicians seeks a highly skilled and experienced Audiologist to lead its Audiology program in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. The successful candidate will provide clinical and academic leadership, develop new clinical programs, and initiate a research program focused on audiology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical and academic leadership in audiology to audiology practitioners and Otolaryngology faculty.
  • Develop new clinical programs to ensure the University of Minnesota remains at the forefront in diagnostic and treatment options.
  • Responsible for on-going competency and clinical training of audiology practitioners.
  • Initiate and maintain a research program focused on audiology, such as vestibular research, clinical neurophysiology, or cochlear implants.
Requirements:
  • Academic doctorate in Audiology or Hearing Science and a professional degree (e.g. MA/MS + PhD or AuD + PhD).
  • Track record in a medical setting with demonstrated effective interaction and collaboration with physician colleagues.
  • Experience as a clinical provider in one or more areas of audiology and/or vestibular sciences.
  • Strong communication skills and a proven track record to lead colleagues.
