Multifamily Community Director

Cortland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multifamily Community Director to lead our apartment communities to new heights. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our multifamily apartment home communities, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional resident experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the site team to achieve exceptional resident satisfaction, occupancy, and net operating income (NOI) results.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance resident engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication across departments.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate financial performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and stay ahead of the competition.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in multifamily property management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, associates, and vendors.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, with a strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
