We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Sparrow Partners. As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in ensuring the daily operations of our Active Adult 55+ communities run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure the community meets the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Inspect and Maintain Community Spaces: Conduct daily inspections to identify and resolve any housekeeping issues, ensuring all areas are well-maintained and meet company standards.
- Develop Strong Relationships with Community Members: Foster positive relationships with residents, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring high community member satisfaction.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Perform various cleaning duties, including sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and polishing floors, as well as dusting and polishing fixtures and fittings.
- Assist in Make-Ready Process: Clean, inspect, and prepare vacant apartment homes and targeted show units to maintain market-ready appeal.
- Monitor and Maintain Cleaning Supplies and Equipment: Ensure a clean and organized work area, maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Practice Safety Techniques: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards, reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues.
- Professional Experience: Possess professional or previous experience working in a similar role and a valid driver's license.
- Housekeeping Experience: Experience in housekeeping, preferably in lease-ups, multifamily housing, Active Adult, or hospitality environments, is desired.
- Attention to Detail: Possess strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and flexibility to work a regular Mon - Fri schedule and nights, weekends, and/or holidays when required.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities, and lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
