GM Certified Diesel Technician

Bell & Bell GMC, a leading dealership in Little River, South Carolina, is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable diesel technician to fill a critical role in our service department.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and other mechanical systems in GM vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including fuel systems, exhaust, and emissions control systems
- Follow and maintain dealership and manufacturer standards for quality and safety
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair timelines and recommendations
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with GM technology and vehicles
- GM Certified Diesel Technician with at least 2 years of experience
- Knowledge of GM vehicles and their diesel engines
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects and work on vehicles in various positions
