Diesel Technician Opportunity

Talon Recruiting is partnering with a leading heavy truck dealership to find skilled Diesel Technicians to join their team in Little Rock, AR.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician to perform a variety of tasks including maintenance, repair, and overhaul of diesel or gasoline-powered trucks and tractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic inspections on truck-tractor systems using mechanical and system software diagnostics.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections of truck-tractor components following a company checklist.
  • Repair truck-tractor components, including oil changes, light bulb replacements, and wheel and tire maintenance.
  • Complete required paperwork to reflect hours, parts, and lube used in each job function.
  • Work with minimal supervision and make road calls for remote component failures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all clients.
Requirements
  • Safety-conscious and knowledgeable of general shop safety.
  • Capable of completing job functions without repeat repairs.
  • Available for full-time work and willing to work additional hours as needed.
  • CDL (Class A) highly preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
