Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production operations to ensure safe operating conditions, monitor production performance, and work with Operations management to achieve goals in a timely manner. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and train production staff, as well as the ability to recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, and operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee production operations to ensure safe operating conditions and monitor production performance.
  • Work with Operations management to achieve goals in a timely manner and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, and operating procedures.
  • Train and motivate production staff to ensure they are properly trained and performing their work adequately.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure production schedules and outputs are met and provide daily reports to management and other appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Production Operators to achieve and maintain high-quality product outputs.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelors degree preferred).
  • Five years of experience in the manufacturing of electronic components.
  • Three years of supervisory experience in a high-change environment with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a production team.
  • Documented expertise in an ERP/MRP system as it relates to the manufacturing of electronic components (experience with JDE preferred).
  • Demonstrated strength in written and oral communication with technically driven customers and staff.
