Position Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Advanced Cardiac Care Nurse Practitioner to become a vital member of our healthcare team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering thorough care to individuals with heart-related ailments. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to positively impact patients' lives while collaborating with a committed group of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including physical assessments, medical histories, and necessary diagnostic tests.
  • Work in conjunction with cardiologists to formulate and execute treatment strategies for patients with cardiovascular issues.
  • Administer medications, observe patient reactions, and modify treatment plans as required.
  • Perform cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and various diagnostic procedures.
  • Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular wellness, preventive strategies, and the significance of adhering to prescribed medications.
  • Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Assist in cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other invasive procedures under the guidance of a cardiologist.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in long-term care settings.
  • Possession of a DEA License.
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License.
  • Experience in cardiology is essential.
