Concordance Healthcare Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in Nampa, ID. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Shipping department, ensuring accurate and timely unloading, sorting, and checking in of freight.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Shipping team, including hiring, training, development, supervision, and performance management of team members.
- Organize the daily workload of the department and direct employees accordingly.
- Provide leadership by example, assisting with daily work, including lifting and stacking of product, unloading trucks, sorting and checking in freight received, operating warehouse equipment, and other various duties.
- Release orders on Order Manager and billing when needed for special delivery needs.
- Track and report freight discrepancies and shortages, researching as needed.
- Ensure departments maintain a clean and orderly work environment, assigning general custodial tasks and establishing cleaning schedules.
- Maintain warehouse equipment to ensure safety of employees, addressing any mechanical issues reported.
- Work proactively to foster and maintain a positive team-oriented atmosphere at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of three years of related experience, with one year in warehouse operations or distribution preferred.
- Previous experience supervising, training, developing, and providing direction to staff a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of Voice Pick and VAI systems (or similar warehouse management or operating system) highly desired.
- Ability to lift/pull/carry at least 70 pounds, stand, and walk for entire shifts, often over 8 hours.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to effectively build relationships.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work independently and effectively as a member of a team.
